Deb Your photos and videos of Bruce's two shows in Texas are priceless. Thanks for posting them, and for putting songs on utube. I was at the Austin show and was blown away. It had been almost thirty years since I have seen Bruce and the band live, and they still bring it.
Hi Richard, I am so glad you let me know you found the photos/videos and are enjoying them. I agree with you, the boys still bring it! I'm envious if you saw them in the late 70's or early 80's. My first tour was 85-Born in the USA. Take care, Deb
Thanks for the shout back. Again, your photos and videos of the show only affirm my judgment that Bruce in Austin 09 is an instant classic. It is fun to follow the tour and see which songs are added, and which drop out. I am so grateful we got to hear Lucky Day, Radio Nowhere and Because the Night. Not many cities are getting those. On connecting this tour to the vintage days, it is really neat to think about how the heart of the current shows draws from Born to Run, especially Darkness, the River to some extent and your Born in the USA. I have really enjoyed going back and seeing the setlists from those first Bruce shows I saw (http://www.brucespringsteen.it/Showdx.htm)and you might too.
Collecting stories and memories of the Tiezzi 13 for the Tiezzi Cookbook that is coming to all of us this summer. The authors of the cookbook would like to intersperse among the recipes some stories about our moms, dads, aunts and uncles.
