STONEYHONEY at Threadgill's North 5-26-10

These guys have done a residency at Threadgill's for several months and this night was their last show.  I'd only been to one other, darn it.  Time flies.
Anyway, it's free, most people come and eat dinner and put money in the tip jar.
It was a fun night.  Stonehoney is releasing a new record later in June.  They were selling them at the show so I did buy one.
They played many from the new cd.  It's called "The Cedar Creek Sessions."  These guys are really good.  Serious harmonizers.
Also, Jimmy LaFave was in the house so he came up and did a couple of songs as did Randy Weeks.  Living in this town is nothing short of a spoil of riches.
