I have seen Gillian a number of times and I like her very much. She is always accompanied by David Rawlings who is a terrific guitar player. I would say this is the least enjoyable show of hers that I have seen. It wasn't a bad show, just parts of it dragged, a little too slow for my tastes.
They did play a new song which I videoed and was glad I did because it sounded great! She didn't give the name of the song, but if it is any indication as to what is coming on her next record, it should be a fantastic album.
We also got a special treat. She brought out Alison Krauss and they did an a cappella "Go To Sleep You Little Baby." It was very cool. You can check it out on YouTube.
